TFS version source control and upgrading

In connection with upgrading our environment, I have a few questions I need your help with:

1. We are about to update our many RH 9 Projects to RH 11. Will the TFS source control be upgraded with the project?
2. Our TFS is now 2013. Should we updtate the client's MSSCCI to Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2013 & 2015 MSSCCI Provider 32-bit?
3. Any important input re. transferring client environment to new client with Windows 8.1?
